Airsoft
if you get hit. there is no evidence apart from a Bruise later and a help of pain. BUT if you get hit. drop to the floor. and i then go back to the spawn area. so yes. you declare yourself.

and yes it does hurt getting hit on bare skin. Clothed skin is easyer.

but the pain farst goes away when you let a hole clip go in to the back of your friend! :)

Airsoft ive heard is genrally better with replica guns, better arena's lighter guns, better choice of guns, cheaper projectiles, genrally nice people, difrent types (shotgun, pistol etc.), bigger arenas, more people, more lifelike... The list goes on.

And paintballs hurt more :D

or go airsofting and get your own G36 like I did.

Airsofting can hurt. Especially when you take a 1 second burst of friendly fire on your arm from 10 feet like my last game.

Anyone who want to try airsoft should look at www.airsoftmap.co.uk and have a look for a local site. Most offer rentals so you can have a go.

But watch out, its addictive. I've only been going for about 2 months and have bought all my kit already.

Could nearly say its better than a LAN.

I havent seen a .68 caliber M4/G36 recently.

Shadowman where are you based?

Also for the G36 you want the star 8/9 conversion kit :p

Obviously there are slight discrepancys in barrel diameter, but at a glance they look bob-on.

there is just no replacement to full auto.

Full auto = no skill. Same with modern 13 shots/sec paintball markers.

I would *MUCH* rather play with pump action markers than modern ones.

one shot one kill isnt always what you need.

Cabe, I play at Urban Assault near peterborough. We have use of an old RAF base. Full officers mess, clinic barracks etc. Normally have about 140 players. Its every other week there and inbetween we have another site for woodland.

Looking at getting another 36 to apply the SL9 kit too.

as for 2 MP5's, i'll keep hold of my pair of WA Infinity Expert 6's.

Full auto is not always used Afty. We regularly do single shot games. I also attend some night games which run til about 11 which are all single shot.

Full auto is useful for suppressing fire. Tactics are much more complex when you have supporting fire and large teams with good communication.
