I saw the previous posts about the iPod, but I came across this about Sony's NW-HD3 player http://www.spex.co.uk/main/id/449/1839/21542.htm
Looks interesting-more storage, different look.
Does anybody know any more? It's due out soon and I don't know whether to take the plunge as it's a bit more expensive.

I've got the HD1 and looking at the specs is just a cosmetic upgrade from the HD1. So far it's treated me very well, sonicstage compresses songs even more to fit more on and its very small and light (approx same size as a credit card, 1cm ish thick). Battery life is very good (30 hours claimed, i've always been able to recharge though before its run out).
If you're willing to pay the extra I would say it's worth it.

It's good to see sony have seen sense and made the HD3 mp3 out of the box as they were really shooting themselves in the foot by not doing that from the start. The design, being sony, is as stylish as ever, but the interface apparantly leaves alot to be desired.
There's alot of mo3 players coming out that want to take ipod's crown now, so things are gonna get interesting in the market.
