Router Problem

Hi there
I will try to explain this as best as possible.
I have a NTL cable 1.5 mb broadband connection running through a set top box attached to this set top box i have a linksys blfsr81 8port router which we have two p.cs connected to.
My wife and i are in a clan btw,when playing moh spearhead the second person to connect to any same server will lose their connection.
I have been in contact with linksys who say its the servers problem and ntl who say routers problem and some server admins who say there should be no problem connecting more than one p.c from the same i.p address.
Any help with this prolem will be appreciated as i am now nearly bald and only have enough hair for about another two months.:D
