Most people want a gunman to shoot up a Busted or Justin Timberlake gig...
but no... they have to target people who play REAL music

How dare you compare Mr Timberlake with Busted??
This is the problem with the gun loving americans, its ok to give everybody a gun but occasionaly some nutter goes mad with one. I suppose the media is going to blame a certain computer game for this crime.. :p:

Oh, so It was Dimebag who died then?
Wasburn are gunna be pissed as they just gave him an endorsement.
Pretty scary stuff though, especially as these kind of events are usually filled with kids too.

On a more serious note, the guy was very talented and it's a shame another talented person has been needlessley taken.

I spose the only good thing to come out of this was that the shooter was himself surgically removed from the genepool for this sin against music...

I LOVE PanterA one of the biggest influences in my life growing up. I was so shocked to hear this at 9 this morning, kined of took me back a little. The other confirmed band member that was killed was Pat the singer in Damage Plan.
RIP Dimebag such a god damn shame.

A) Pantera are one of the biggest metal bands ever. We're talking nearly Metallica sized here.
B) Oh yeah, because Nirvana were only an incredible band and became famous AFTER Kurt died. Yeah, I remember now.
RIP Pat and Dimebag. A great loss to music.

Undoubtably one of the best guitarists to grace the metal scene, his riffs and solos are unforgetable. Anyone who has listened to pantera knows how much of a genius this guy is. He pretty much made the pantera sound.

Anyone who likes anything to do with metal has heard of Pantera, or at least worn one of their t-shirts.
