If you import the US version you will need:

1. a US billing address.

or

2. US Game Time cards.

You can't register the US WoW without one or the other.

I'll make do with the closed beta for now.

The question is whether after your free month, when the credit card you supplied is used, they'll kick those who haven't got US credit cards/billing addresses. However, if they don't accept UK CCs, you should be able to get around it by using gamecards or Paypal (when they get that set up)

I'm on US, but I used American friend hax to get in. He pays for my sub and I pay him back.
For anyone that's not played it yet and wants a looksee, I'm sure we can arrange with Wizzo a time at stratlan where the internet is locked down to me only where I can show everyone around the game.

I'm playing in the US as well.
It's gamecards all the way - no need for an address at all.

Make sure however you do have the billing situation sorted before you receive the game - you have to register your billing option first before you gain access to the free month.

I used my UK CC to sign up, was no problem at all. All I did was use a US address, which I changed once I had signed up.

I haven't bought any gamecards, going to wait to see if they will bill my CC first.
