Undead warrior for me.

The Alliance are the majority choice on the US servers so far, the highest level characters are all Alliance, and all the newbie/ hub areas are hugely choked. People are apparently shunning the Horde because the characters are "too ugly"! I'm playing an Undead mage and I must say it's a lot quieter in the main cities and popular zones.
Also, the Horde are better for PvP imo, as they don't succumb to fear effects and just look eeevil

Im so glad they balanced the game (even for powerlevellers) so you don't see troll rogue troll rogue troll rogue on the level boards

Alliance/Horde split is about 60-40 across all servers.
BUT the first to 60 was horde.

If you don't want to play a class that we have tons of, play priest,warlock or druid. Those are the most underplayed.
Priests are actually very fun character, don't just think "oh, it's the main healing class, I can't solo or help in group battles apart from healing...".
Basically that's just wrong, they can solo very well, have a lot of utility in groups and are pretty mean in PvP.
Rogues and shamans are the most played, followed by Paladins.

I myself have a 15 priest and 22 rogue (ok ok, but he's so much fun :)

Oh, I have one alliance toon. Level 1 Warrior that I never really play. His main function is to act as a decoy when my guild plans to raid somewhere.

Example: I get on the Alliance capitol chat channels and spam that a group of horde raiders are heading for the Goldshire area. Once I get enough attention and confirm that the Alliance high levels are clustered there, I join my Horde main and give them the all-clear to raid the everliving hell out of Ironforge.

My first 60 (and 70) was a Gnome Lock, I don't agree with the comment above that they are underplayed I'd say far from it. My next 60 (and very soon to be 70) was Gnome Fury Warrior

I've done it as a 2ft Pirate :D

Noggenfogger + Deviate vs Onyxia. needed a raid marker icon so that the healers could even see i was still there.

As a rule, i dont world PvP unless provoked.

Draenai's are so fugly (including that disgusting mount) that i feel compelled to gank the living deformity out of them.
