For those of you who replied to my thread a few months ago about getting into the IT industry, thought I'd let you know I've decided to get my A lvls finished, then go on the jobhunt. Since I've got together with my girlfriend it's made me realise some things in life, and I think working would be a better way to go for me than uni.
Nonsense to most of you, but someone might be interested :)

Good for you...It's great when stuff just sorts itself out and falls into place isn't it?
Truly happy Mandy :)

Good luck :)
I skipped college/uni and landed on my feet, it can be done, but you will have to work your nuts off to get it. dont expect it to fall into you lap.

Well I tell you what, as long as I've got my girlfriend to come home to after a days work, I'll work my arse off. Cause it'll be worth it :)
Funny how one experience can alter your entire perception on life isnt it.

On a random impulse I decided to look back over all the threads I created since signing up here. So another small update:
I've been working in an IT Systems Admin job for the past two years, and have learnt lots of different things in the process. Ok, it only pays £10k a year but it's a CV filler, but it's a start.
Working on an IT & Business foundation degree P/T, with one more year to go. At the end of that course, I'm taking a year out of work to spend a year at uni full-time. And as work are paying for me to do the course, I've got the best of both worlds :)
And regarding me getting together with my girlfriend, we're still together after 2 1/2 years :)
glad to see everything worked out for you :)
its a great feeling when things work out im finding that out my self at the moment..started a new job in IT and all that.
