I was wondering if anyone could help me sort out my gaming ping im using Aol 1mb yes i know aol suck and they are getting right on my tits cos thier live help and tech support im sure just sit around thinking of ways to do my head in!!!!
So i was wondering if the nice ppl of this forum could help me before i go and stick my nob in the toaster and end it all!!!!!
For some reson when i try to connect to any multiply server im getting routed though newyork with savvis.net but also im going through pop2-loh-p7-0.adtn.net which is aol's parent company and they are the 1'2 sending me to savis. Aol recons its not them but the multiplay server which i believe to be a load of horse #### but still are there any fixes for this as im getting stressed plus my guys are renting a multiplay server which i need to connect to thanx ladies XxXxX
P.S. The toaster is looking the only option!!!!!

there was , not too long ago another aol user suffering simular routing issues. im not 100% but i think that was an issue on the AOL side.

it sounds to me you have the same, the multiplay servers are all london based, so being sent via ny seems really stupid.

check this thread HERE (http://forums.multiplay.co.uk/showthread.php?threadid=27505&highlight=routing) to see the other AOL thread i refered to, may be some info of use in it.

Can I suggest changing to another ISP?

may be a good time to move away from AOL and their way of doing things to the rest of the worlds way of doing things.
