this game desperately needs some songs


and the pattern should be more to the beat rather than the words

Any song with a good strong 4/4 is always going to be good for easy-intermediate play - something that goes bum bum bum bum bum bum bum etc

dance music for example - or pop music - take your pick basically 4/4 is the most common time signiture around

think of DDR - people quite like the faster ones so maybe something like a fast rock...

Its the end of the world as we know it by REM would be a good choice

for harder play go for 3/4 or 6/8 time signitures such as unchained melody or golden brown

for ultra hard play you've gotta do paranoid android by Radiohead - its in some ungodly time signutre like 5/2 or something silly like that
