has multiple inputs on the rear, including all the inputs for the console, unlike cheaper KVMs that have some or all of the console inputs on the front. With a special cable, you can chain multiple Omni Views together. This unit requires male to female VGA cables and supports serial mice, for those that may still need that functionality. Supplied with 3 sets of VGA/MOUSE/KEYBOARD cables
The front has multiple indicator lights, including four for chained Omni Views and one for each local port. Two buttons on the front allow you to switch ports from left to right, scan on a fixed interval, or reset the switch if something goes wrong. I haven’t had to reset the switch yet.
I’d recommend this older KVM switch to anyone that doesn’t need support for USB devices or something that’s rackmount ready.
Its not used any more, it needs a new home. Power adapter is included.
