iv got a dlink dsl-G604T adsl modem router 4 port switch, wifi point all in one job, now recently 3 of my pc's could not connect to the net, i ping a few sites and found out that the dns was the problem. now I'm stumped on what to do, iv try ed other dns ips and they all have the same problem, any senabule ideas on how to fix this ?

I used to have a similar problem with my DG814. I was using it as a DNS proxy for some clients, and it would randomly keel over and stop forwarding requests. I ended up hard wiring all the clients to use specific DNS servers.

Could be something similar?

tryed diffent dns ips, same problem
used nildrams and some others

This is a common problem with lower end end user routers. They aren't designed to be used 24/7, if you want something like that but dirt cheap get Linksys.

2 solutions;

1) Regular Firmware updates

2) Manual reboots as soon as the router becomes unresponsive
