I have now learned that quite a few of us are playing this... but all independantly.

We really should organise a group night. All start new chars.

Also suggest we have some variety in the class of chars we all make so we're not all blasters :)
I'll volunteer to be defender/controller as I don't have one.

Okay everyone.... to save time can you all make sure you have created your new characters in advance and get to level 3 before we play on thursday. Its piss easy to do solo and wont take you even an hour.

My new character is a defender (healer).

Haven't made char yet, but will do so tonight. I'll post back with name.

Since we have 2 defenders already, I'll do me a gravity/forcefield controller.

Well I was looking to have an MMORPG for a couple hours a week gameplay, and as EQ2 and WoW look so damn awful from the betas, I figure I might DL and play this a bit next week. Is there a free trial I can spend a few hours on?

No trial sorry.
But you could see if any of the bfc's still have an active account to try it out for a bit (or even inactive, then it will only cost you £8 to test it for a month).

I will ask around the BFCs. I went to the site and clicked "buy COH" on the right and it took me to a page telling me to order it from USA-exclusive mail order sellers.

I thought you could buy and download this online? And if I can, where can I download it from, on the basis I will need it anyways if I get an ex-BFC account.
