When toast pops up from the toaster does it make you jump?
I was explaining i have this problem to Steadders and he admits he has the same problem
no matter how much i calm myself and sit watching the toaster, telling myself it's going to pop up so dont be alarmed, i cant help but jump
i'll be like "ok.. it's going to pop up soon........... any minute now.............. very soon................ stay calm.............. any miBAM! HOLY COW!!!!!...... DAMNIT!"
anyone else have this problem?

yea but the wirring is even worse because YOU KNOW its coming.
but its so close to the actually BAM that you dont have time to brace yourself, you just kind of think:
...wrrrr..oh no, its wirring, that meansBAM

could make one of those flash movies that are supposed to scare people
"LOOK CLOSELY AT THIS TOASTER AND YOU WILL SEA A REFLECTION IN THE CASING OF SOMEONE PLAYING THE PIANOBAM!"

Ditto. The "Leaving The Room" strategy is tried and tested.

I did with my old one, it used to make such a loud sound that I could hear it from upstairs*, both when it got half-way and when it finished.
* = Not Literaly, but I could usualy hear it through walls.
The new one I have now is quieter, so I can at least leave the room.

Sometimes I jump a bit. A few times it actually managed to launch said toast onto the plate in front of it.
Depends how alert I am in the morning I think.

I don't even own a "proper" toaster. But whenever I'm bored and make toast at school or at someone else's house etc I jump...it's really odd...I know it's coming, and keep tell myself that, but I still jump, the weirdest thing is I always manage to let down my guard and think "argh, it's gona be ages" JUST before it pops up :/

you should make a skillz video
Toast done quick
i guess that would involve h4xing ways to make toast in 10 seconds flat
You could get a bicycle pump, fire it at the ground and jump at the same time (pump jump), bounce off the wall, grab the bread, blowtorch it and then pick up a spoonfull of jam and throw it at the toast
such h4x
