You see, when you say spare PCs, we know you mean about 20 Dual Xeon 3GHz and about 5 Quad Opterons. So yeah, we should get pretty high...

Don't know Whiteknight, I do have loads of spare pcs, and boff pretty much guessed it... dual opterons.... dual xeons... even my work pc!

I am under Nvidia_Bitch on UD, will put more machines on there today!!

P.S. What systems are you running UD on? [spec?]

It varies.

Initially, i only had a handfull of P3s doing it. Now i have a WORLD of xeons on the case, churns out a lot more units.

THe only problem is that UD isnt multi threaded, and you cant run multiple instances of it.

That, and you cant run it on *nix, makes its quite limited in its installed user base.

You can get around the multi-threading limitation by running the second copy in a Virtual PC. IT performs almost as well as outside of it.

Already joined, and joined some of Nvidia UK! Trying to make more XEON pcs [too many spare peices of kit, finding time to make them!] then will really be chrunching numbers!
