In a multiplayer game what makes a good OS target? That group of 5 defilers? The enemy base? What?

Well, if orks got an OS, I would probaly just drop it on the massed dread rush that always seems to come my way.

Frontline defences, flank attacks (coming from your side I mean) and choke points are the three chosen locations of commanders of Space Marines worldwide :)

PS Maxrealism: there's a big ol' clue about 1/3 of the way down from the top of your screen.

Actually, given the devestation that killing the command center does it's a pretty good target. Noone ever builds more than 1 of them and they take *ages* to rebuild.

I think the answer has to be a base drop - given the proximity of all the buildings in most bases it would _have_ to hurt *bbaaddd*.

In fact, if they had no builders left it would be fatal... Get some snipers into the base with infiltrate and take out their builders when you spot them. Ooooohhhh, that'd be annoying!

and the fact that most people leave there base totally unguarded - you drop - all the troops rush back - you send in your other army to corner them!

Had that happen to me in a game before - was NOT HAPPY!

You mean you never leave a squad or two back just incase? I always do that when playing marines to avoid annoying Ninja-ForceCommander OS's

Base defence turrets exist for those "stealth generals" :)

The problem as orks for that though is he can just as easily take them out and lower you're population cap quite alot, thus buggering you if you lose most of you're army in a fight. (Having to buy all those waagh towers again).

Hence I avoid making my defence rely on soley waagh towers.
