Everquest 2 Retail

Ive heard a rumour that kinda going round EQ, that teh retail version of EQ2 will come with the free gift of JBoots.

can anyone shed any light on this or is it another urban legend ?

I cant really see them giving maybe 100,000 or so JBoots away, as then SOW etc would become obsolete. Also if the boots are not NODROP then that would make tehm worthless.


Also I have been told that there is a "Heritage" line, where EQ Characters can pass items to EQ2 Chracters as "Family Heirlooms".


Will This happen either ?

Might sound annoyingly silly, but have a look at the talk through Everquest 2 movie on this months PC Gamer, that explains all about the new game.

Personally it looks awesome, but i need to do some fact finding before i play.

Right I have just bought the preorder dvd (x2), and yes you get the rare item Jboots, as I had a special confirmation code.
