Greets.

Now obviously the intro cinematic is very very impressive. I'm wondering, are there any other pre-rendered cutscenes like this, or are they all in-game engine'd ?

Seems to be the only one, which is a shame, because it's the best pre-rendered intro I've seen for ages.

I installed it last night and watched the intro - omg!
Reminded me very much of Blizzard (who make the best cut scenes).

After watching the intro I was quite disapointed that the cut scenes were not the same cinematic style.

Wonder if they will ever make a Warhammer 40k movie?

Man i hope so, and make it good too, lord of the rings quality :)

I used to play alot of the real WH40k and used the chaos army of win, and it interests me very muchos!

its not like they are strapped for backstory, they only thing that come close to this level of thought out world is LOTR and even that doesnt have as many written words.

they've got about 30+ codex's (if you include old versions), and a shed load of books to draw characters from :)


back on topic, the opening intro is the best i've seen in years, it's better (in my opinion) than the one for Shenmue 3 on the PS2 whcich was I had thought to be extremely well done.


I just hope they make an expansion pack for the game, as it's practically begging for one.
