ADSL VPN Router

Hi, need router. I would normally set up a box with FBSD, IPf and mpd. But, alas the choice is between getting 2 good routers or 2 boxes.

I have limited time, really need a value for money/security solution. Although mpd connection is encrypted, I would like something more secure, MUCH more secure. Something maybe with IPsec and MAC address identification.

Note; Russian import tax is high. So, below $1k.

ADSL speeds 2mbit, one at each end and uplinks to 100mbit switches at both ends.
