Pings

Hi chaps

One of my members is having high pings on our server, he lives in the UK and has pings of 40ish on other UK based servers, but on our COD server his ping is 100ish, all my other team mates are happy including european based ones. Anyone have any idea what is causing this ?

Given that the problem is just one of your clan members means that it is almost without a doubt some sort of routing issue with his connection to our services.

Get him to download http://winmtr.sourceforge.net/winmtr_bin.zip
Unzip and run. In the box marked HOST, type in the IP address of the server without the port number and allow it to run for at least 20 mins... preferably while he is playing a game on said server.

When he has finished, he needs to click stop, then click EXPORT TEXT. Save the file and send as an attachment to clanservers@multiplay.co.uk explaining the problem he has been having in as much detail as possible. We should then be able to give you a good idea of where the problem lies and what (if anything) can be done about it.
