to be fair chicane, i've never had a novalogic patch screw up an install in however many of their games i've played

start to look like Steam, a fix to fix a fix that should have fixed a fix.
After new patch i couldnt switch to rifleman.

you can always keep your version at 1.2 and run servers for like minded people who also keep their install at 1.2. don't ask me how to connect over the net though
