Can someone help me with this, I was playing on Call of Duty multiplayer server:

Yesterday I was playing here and I got a ncie score. No notification of anything against me. Today I join and I get the message 'You have been BANNED by SERVER ADMIN'. Can someone help because this has never happened before. Unless someone else is using my cd key so it's banned or something?

its a clan server, you need to get in touch with the clan that rents it

Multiplay only host the server, and the clan descided not to take the option to remove "mulitplay" from the server title

Well this has happened on a number of other servers of which I have not even been on before.

Then it is quite possible you have managed to get your GUID on on the punkbusted master ban list.

This could be for any number of reasons ranging from being an actual cheat to simply having "tested" a cheat on a punkbuster enabled server.

Im not calling you a cheat. I am simply offering a possible explaination.

Is there any way to check these logs and from what ip address as I can guarantee I have not used cheats. I think someone else is using my cd key with cheats enabled but the problem is I lost the box and cds when moving house so I've only got it installed iwth 1.4.

Note: If I were to buy another Call of Duty would I be able to play or will I have to change my nick etc?
