banned?

:confused: today i was playing on the multiplay sof2 public ctf server ....was playing for a while on map jordan & suddenly a was kicked & ' banned'????????

ive been playing sof2 for ages now & i think im a good player
most times when i come into this server i see when ever a good player comes in ,other player start moaning about them being a cheater.... i normally take that as a complement
i promise you i have never cheated never will do!

i dont know which admin banned me ,but surely they should have said something before banning me:(

is it your policy to ban good players???
is this server just for newbies & not so good players???

i am 31 & from the uk ....so this being a uk server it pings cool for me
but anyway i hope i can get some answer ot this because i am confused:confused: to why i have been banned

Are you sure its a Multiplay Public server or is it a Multiplay.co.uk :: Name here?

If you could supply us with the IP we can find out what's happened.

Or alternatively pop by #mpukhosting on Quakenet and one of the @'s or +'s should sort you out.

Whilst hosted by us, this server is not administered by us.
It is a rented clanserver. The people who rent it are responsible for adminning their server, and unfortunately they can do it however they wish.

This is not the first time we have had complaints about people being kicked from an SOF2 server. I cant be certain, but given how few we host for SOF2, it wouldnt suprise me if they were for this server as well. It seems they are quite kick/ban happy.

I dont know how justfied they are (if at all), but unfortunately it is their server. They can do with it as they wish.

Yes.... but thats because members of your old clan were filmed commiting acts of wanton vandalism at previous i-series. Hardly anything to do with this topic tho.

yeah SmOke the admin on this server is a complete halfwit. I have been kicked from there a few times and today i got banned for no reason

Guys... there is no need to start hurling insults and being offensive.

We have explained the situation, and how there is nothing we can do about it.

There is no need for non-staff to come in here making unhelpful comments (shazz).
