Hi folks, I am having one last clearout this month of my excess SCSI bits, so without further ado, I give you the following:

2x LSI Logic LSI20320-R 64-bit PCI-X Ultra320 SCSI Single-Channel Host Bus Adapter with Hardware RAID 0 or RAID 1

£75 EACH including RMSD - SOLD

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1x Aopen HSC5A 5 Bay SCSI Hot swap assembly.

These assemblies are SCSI 320/160/80/40 compatable, perform brilliantly and fit into an area the siz of 3 5.25 inch bays. Cooling for the drivesis provided by a 120mm fan fitted to the back, is very effective and pretty quiet too.

Thes puppies are £180-£200 brand new now.

These units went for £1200-1500 if memory serves and are still very current technology. However, a pretty niche market seliing it amongst normal folk.

Any of this stuff can be brought to i21.

I would prefer that it goes to like-minded ppl on here than to random peeps on egay as it is very nice stuff, is very quick and at the price is excellent to start you off in the world of scsi :)

Does the data silo come with disks ?

And do you have the rack mount kit for it, or is it desktop only ?

It came with a few 9gb 7200 rpm drives, I did get it upto 9 matched in actual fact, but used them for various other things. I have a fair few 68pins drives (upto 9gb) floating about and to be honest you are welcome to them.

This big bugger is a big black standing unit, not with racmount assembly. For the money, you really can't complain ;)

Cheers,

Nick :)
