So, Compaq UPS then:

http://gallery.limivorous.com/albums/Selling-stuff/125_2534.jpg

Its large, very large... will handle 9 outputs on the back and has a rating of something impressive. Don't ask me cause i have forgotten/never knew.
Basically i run 2 pcs + monitors + router etc etc off of it and it isn't bothered at all.
This is a server farm ups really and the batteries are still working fine on it (must test it shortly).

Reason for getting rid? Basically my house is full of junk and i want more room, coupled with the fact that in 3 years i have not had a power cut it seems a little bit pointless.

So, yours for a mere £50

The Angel/Devil on my shoulders are fighting over if I should use this £50 to pay off my debts, or buy a UPS...

Ok, just to assist cultrue in this sale (as i think i sold it to him in the first place) here are the specs..

http://www.compaq.it/prodotti/broch...129-br_prod.pdf

Make: Compaq
Model: T2400h
Rating: 2.4kva UPS
Age: 1 Year
Dims: 18 x 22.5 x 45 cm each (Two units, one battery one electrics - see photos)
Weight: Electrics = 15.5Kg
Batteries = 28.5Kg

To give you some idea of this units potential, assuming the batteries are still in good order, i used to run the following spec for well over an hour.

Dual PIII 1ghz + Lots of Kits
Dual PIII 500mhz + lots of fans and hds.
19" monitor
17" moitor
24" TV
Video
24port Switch
DVD Player

If you are running a small shuttle type PC + TFT, you`re looking at closer to 7 hours.

I personally have 3 of these babies... they run everything i own. In the event of a power cut i can quite happily watch a couple of DVDs or surf the net for a couple of hours :D

If you want the data cable, phone 0870 555 4556 (compaq parts number, but it may have changed) take option 2, and quote compaq part number 295501-001.

The cables are £21 + vat and aparently have free delivery..

I`m not sure of the legalities of it, but i can supply a copy of a 3rd party mornitoring app that I use. It was a free download, but i cant find it anymore so they may have made it into a commercial product.
