Neatgear DG384 ADSL Firewall Router

Well... its recieveing an ADSL Signal, but when i try to connect to the ip adress for the router, i get " cant resolve server" spam.

Pc has been set up correctly, and cables checked and couble checked.


Router killed itself?

Anyone else had these problems?

(ps i dont get ADSL till thursday, and i'm recieving a constant signal for adsl now) that wouldnt affect it, would it?

Its not the isp, its the router, so why would my isp even give a fek about that? :/

Might I suggest you do the traditional 'reset the router' and see if you can gain access that way?

Is the router new or second hand? If the latter then I can only reinforce CyberDrac's point as the router may be forcing itself to an IP different to the one in the manual/one you'd normally use from the previous owner's configuration.

Brand new, and its been reset a couple of times by me, and still noting :eek:

as a last resort try this:

it may be a duff router or might be on an "unknown" ip range.
