Funny you should say that, at SL20, I found a nice side-line to do with how people playing Joint Ops perceive a threat.

Example: Full black hawk helicopter piloted by me touches down and hotdrops people into a control zone, as I'm lifting off, I find an enemy unit, and shout to my teammates his location.

Rather than moving to another position, the unit turns, sees who I've dropped off, and then turns back to me to blow me away with whatever he has. This time, he uses his rifle to hit the helicopter, giving away his exact location with tracers.

People move in on him, but he's STILL More interested in taking down a helicopter which is getting increasingly further away from him than turning and engaging a real threat.

My point: Sometimes it's actually quite good to be a distraction in the field, as people assume the biggest threat is always the most dangerous.

Second point: I can respawn and be back in the air within about 20-30 seconds, whereas it would take longer for a unit to move back in, due to transport and locational issues.

Thanks to all those who turned up, was a fun few games, my trusty knife saw much action and the phrase "STABBY STABBY" has now been added to my collection... :D
