64 RAM
8 GIG hard Drive
nVIDIA GeForce4 MX 420 64MB (CD With Drivers Included)
Zonet NIC Card 10/100 (CD With Drivers Included)
56k Modem
4 PCI slots
Keyboard/Mouse
JBL Pro Speakers
IDE CD cable
IDE Floppy Cable
OS Tried to format but didnt work for some reason so i just reinstalled 2000 pro

Just like to point out there is no floppy disc drive or cd drive or monitor.

All This For £50

Packard bell scanner with disc neva used couple of scratches on top.

Please be more specific about the processor. AMD K6 covers from around 233 to 450mhz. 3D now is a CPU instruction set similar to MMX. Quite interested, not bothered about the keyboard / mouse / speakers though.

errrmm well i'm not sure what it is i sorta cant find it out i looked over the pc and it doesnt say it any where give me a bit and i see what i can do

Hey whats the quickest way to find out the speed i would look on devive manager or my computer then propities but it doesnt say any thing there

on bootup, look at the screen - it should say there before windows starts to load

or maybe in the bios it might tell you the clockspeed of the cpu.

well i'm gonna start to take some pics of the pc and stuff then i have to take it apart to put it in it old case.

ok check on start up nope sorry not there and i dunno what biso is allways wanted to but i dunno lol i think i might need to learn it as i'm going to build my own pc some told me it migfht be wise.

push the windows key + pause/break
it will give you details and cpu speed there (i believe, does on mine)

then you next step is www.cpuid.com and get CPU-Z.
Download and run gives you detials of you cpu, mainboard, and memory. No install, just run.

ahhh thanks i do that as soon as i have put the pc back in the old case.

if the PC aint in a case, then look at the back of the chip and quote what the numbers are on theback of the chip itself. I am sure that there are a few bods on here that will tell you what they mean.

TBH, if you are enough of a noob not to know what a BIOS is i would keep this PC for a learning box. Get to grips with the basics on a machine that doesnt matter, before you try and change the HS on your loverly new Athlon and crack the core or somthing....

Also i think that price is a little high for a machine of this vintage.

Ok i finaly fount out the speed of the processor 533MHz and now i have changed the case also i changed the price to £50.

If no sales here, sell it on ebay and advertise it as "internet ready" put your reserve on for £66 and it will probably go higher, all the old people do like "internet ready". 2nd option put an advert up in your local newsagents again saying "internet ready". Being on here you should know how to set a computer up, so say i can come and set it up for you....

yes, but if he has to put the pc together for sale then im sure he can at least plug in the monitor, keyboard, mouse etc for them.
