In this thread i shall discuss all things related to the septmber LAN. The first one is the date.
We have two weekends availabe to us, the first weekend is the 10th-12th. The main benefit from this weekend is that its closer than the second date :)
The second date is the 17th-19th

Where the current discussion is over the date for our September LAN, 10-12th or 17-19th. The second date there is the September Weekend which means its a local bank holiday weekend.

If you could please post your thoughts over the two dates and also any other questions you have regarding the LAN

bad news I am afraid ppl
The LAN will not be held anytime this month :(

Not enough things have been done for the LAN and all the Admin are unable to get time off work.
I also have my first day of university on the 20th and with the admin all working full time hours atm (8-5) I don’t feel there is enough time for us to organise an event in this time scale.
I must apologise once again about this but we are already looking at an October date and hope to finalise the date soon.

So I choose to fight on by asking why not have a second admin team formed to run lans!!!
THis could make it pssible to run Lans all year round and keep ppl interested.

Saying this when will the next lan be since the lan has been cancelled recently.

Oh and whip someone for not updating the website.

Alright people. Firstly sorry for the lack of updates to the site. This time of the year has been particularly busy for all members of the admin team. We do want more LAN's to be held in Scotland and more people to attend our events. We are currently working on a date for the next LAN and this should be finalised tonight (Friday 8/10/04). Once a date is agreed apon the date will be posted on the site, what I can confirm is that this date will be before Christmas!!!.

ps-hopefully ;)

PEACE.

Sorry guys but the first two dates we wanted where unavailable, so after having a few days to think we chose another weekend only to be told that the venue wasn't available that weekend either.
Trying to get a suitable date arranged and I’ll post as soon as theres more news.

Unfortunately we are unable to hold an event in November or December. :(
This means its going to be January or February until the next Uprising.
We will be holding another LAN don't worry but you need to wait till the new year.

Sorry bout this guys I’m as disappointed as a lot of you will be but too much is happing in December with various admin.
