I don't get spammed. Usermode +R sorts it all out for me.

Usermode +R (/mode <yournick> +R) stops anyone who isn't authed with Q from pming you. None of those bots are authed. :)

Russia seems to be the world's hot house for warez, h4x1ng and spam, why is this? Has all that vodka gone to their heads?

I will let that one go this time. As unfortunately a large amount of alcohol is consumed in this country, but it differs little from others.

The reasons why hacking and warez are so popular in Russia are quite simple;

a) No law exists or inforced to stop spam or any sort of hacking except that which comprimises government security
b) Licencing is expensive, a licenced game costs $20, an unlicenced $3. Although some measures are being taken now and you can get a fully licenced game for around $5. But, no manuals are included, no fancy box etc.
c) Large availability of bandwidth and brains to carry out such acts
d) No moral tutoring that "CD copying is bad", or "SPAMing is wrong". Open Source all the way :)

P.S.

I'm doing fine, infact just today bought tickets and will be in England at the end of July :)

I was on holiday, and my BNC got disconnected and rejoined, meaning it no longer had the +R usermode. The BNC was set to forward all pms to my email account. These are just the spam pms, there were only 3-4 non-PM related spam messages in that trash box (meaning I had around 120 random PMs).
