Well how did it go?
I couldnt go for reasons of my own, mainly no transport.
Was it still fun with less people or is that up to personal opinoin?
And when will the next event be held?
Be it small or large?

the general thought on it where that it was one of the more enjoyable ones to date.
Because it was so small we where able to get everyone involved in the games easier, so some 4 on 4 games of C&C were played as well as cops and robbers in midtown madness two.
We even got some cooperative games of Joint Ops which was fun.
There is no date yet for the next event however i was thinking about holding one during the September weekend.
If we were to hold one then it would be a large event.

Alright do you think you will be doing small event - large event - then small or would you try fitting the smalll events in between large ones for those who missed the large event or will it be based purely on the lack of numbers?
I was wondering if you would be reverting to using the upper area (lounge thingy) for the lan for small events?
Since you did say that the big hall was quite expensive.
Anyway I hope i can find transport to take me to the next event be it small or big, thats if I dont go on holiday.
Fingers crossed the uni i hope to go to will have internet access and i would happyli live there lol.

The main reason for us using the upper area for the event was that its warmer upstairs than it is in the back hall and also it was less equipment to move for us too.
I would like to hold all events in the larger hall as its hard wired and no one else needs to be in the hall when we're in it.
The facilities upstairs are used by other people over the course of the weekend and so we have to remember this.
The large hall downstairs also allows for us to keep the admin and servers in a separate location for the gamers which i think also helps.
We have no intentions of running a large lan then a smaller one, however we have noticed that this tends to happen due to the numbers interested.
It may be that the admin can't pick dates that suit everyone and if this is the case then we hope people will suggest dates or changes to us and we'll see if its doable or not.
We won't changes dates for a few people however if the majority of ppl think the date should be changed then we'll look into it.
Thanks again to all who attended especially to the new folk :)
Also I would like to state that i had nothing to do with the childish antics which led to ^rob being drawn on with markers while he slept. :p:

I've been to 4 uprising LAN's, and two of them were small, and tbh, i had alot more ufn at the small ones.
Only bad thing was when i almost broke my neck in the gymnastics hall, and Mooney just laughs.. :(

You were braggin about how good ur were so u get a small run up then u hit the trampoline at full speed, overshoot the crash mat and stick to the wall on the other side, while you where slowly sliding down the wall i was almost crying with laughter.
I think anyone who saw that would also just laugh at you:D
