static routes with multi home win2k pc

Right,

Here is the situation

PC has 3 nics in it.

192.168.1.2 sub 255.255.255.0 gw 192.168.1.1 Main nic
192.168.1.3 sub 255.255.255.0 Sniffing nic
192.168.1.4 sub 255.255.255.0 Sniffing nic

192.168.1.3 and 192.168.1.4 nics can't transmit any data so I need all external traffic requests to go through 192.168.1.2 nic.

If I unplug the main nic cable and plug it back in, it stops pc pinging to outside world.

Can I use static routes to ensure that I can always ping to the outside world when main nic is connected. What do I need to setup? Example syntax would be great, I've had an attempt but failed.
