Anyone who's in the .BFC. Superteam and fancies playing this weekend keep an eye on your super-team list.
I'm looking to get a decent number of us online (say Sat?) and do a task-force mission or 2. (Massive exp for EVERYONE).
I'll be lvl 15, lvls from 8-19 will be ok, as long as there are enough higher lvl people to act as mentors. The task force mission will be lvl 15, so right in the middle of the range (not too hard for 13-15 ppl, not too easy for 19 ppl).
I know Evakinz has somehow levelled up to 10 in 3 days or so on the victory server (clearly working hard) ;), but if you have a character in that range and fancy a game, pop online on Saturday.

Ok pre-warning on Task Force missions.
Firstly make sure they have fixed them. You couldn't do the last mission when we did them some weeks ago.
Secondly these TFM's take 6-7 hours to complete, so set yourself lots of spare time.
Thirdly if you take over 6 people it gets incredibly hard. Im talking 3 bosses with 12 mobs all over the place. So expect to die a lot :)
Theres an alternative of the defend style missions in the trial zones, think boomtown may have one. But again, need to check they fixed them.

I think they're fixed. Ariadne (one of the .BFC. supergroup) completed one yesterday, levelled twice inside it and was awarded a lvl 26 SO enhancement when killing the boss (clockwork king). They sound like a good laugh.

For everyone's info, there was a patch issued today which, amongst other things, fixed the TF problems completely.
Also, some of the Taskforces have a minimum group size, so although when you have 7 or 8 people, the missions get substantially more difficult, you can't avoid that with the later ones.

Saturday, afternoon going on evening? I guess we can do 2 or so, so if you miss the start of the first one some people could hit the second.
I'll be online tonight, so if you're not in the group and want to be send me a /t (I'll be playing as "really angry") and I'll get you added.

Well, didn't manage to get a TF going last weekend, but I did induct a number of new players into the Supergroup.
It was most fun last night having a 4-man team from the group (admittedly 3 blasters and 1 defender isn't the _most_ balanced team but it seemed pretty effective). I'll most likely be onine tonight if anyone fancies a little more.

So then we'd have 5 blasters and one healer :) Sound fun.
Last night's group was
2 x Lvl 18 blasters
1x Lvl 15 blaster
1 x Lvl 18 healer
So we can easily SK you.
Potentially a tank would be useful...

Aardvark - read the sticky in this forum for details on how to get the game via download.
Zak: 1/4 of a bub from 19 :)
Perhaps I should slow down a bit and/or level up a tanker.
Anyone knowledgeable have ideas for a good tanker build?

http://www.rpgexpert.com/1985.html is a handy resource (from the beta, so it's not totally up to date)
Apparently stone/stone or invulnerability/super strength are the ones to go for :) (although any combo can be made to work)

We could have given you the client at Strat Aard (sure you'd still have to "buy" it online but that's not really a problem).
I burnt a 2-disc version of it for Ryvita as well, he got online no probs.

Well I was going to buy it off Kil at stratlan, but he forgot to bring it, daft get. Does the CD key from the boxed version work with the dl? Cos if so he could just tell me the key and I'll get a copy off a mate with broadband, I guess.

Can't see why it wouldn't.
Bear in mind, it's not a CD-key. You can install the client without it I think, but you need it to sign up for the servers on teh plaync website. You can do that with isdn no problem.

oh yeah forgot to mention for those too lazy to check the name thread, I am playing under ShadowFalcon and Nikumba is FireDevil.
I suppose I could always use my lvl 2 scrapper!!
