My computer setup (desktop), is entirely setup for american 110 voltage. I need a british 220 converter in order for it to all work. Does anyone have the answers to my prayers laying about in their attic?

I have a spare ATX power supply that you could borrow for the event.
Seems simpler.
Interested?

Much interested... i think... heh. I'd have to concieve of whether my monitor and mouse would still work. I'm wondering if maybe they are autoswitching.

Most international airports etc sell these on your way in and out, as do most electronic stores, it really shouldnt be hard to find one on friday... just start phoning major electronics stores ;)

your mouse should be ok

you'll need a 110 to 240v converter for your monitor though

99.99% of modern monitors (especially TFTs) have auto ranging PSUs in them, and most PCs have a toggle switch.

And almost every power brick (for the mouse charger maybe) are 110 - 240v too so i dont think you`ll have any problems tbh.

You could, of course, be VERY unlucky and have the 0.01% of hardware that DOESNT auto range...

Check all the manuals.

You might just need UK style power leads, of which i`m sure you can borrow many from people / wizzo at the event.
