I'm shlepping down on the train as the corporate jet has been taken for some form of international shenanigins.
Anyone know the best way to go via train from London?
There appears to be a direct train from London to Stratford leaving at 6:38 from Paddington, otherwise it looks like I need to go to Warwick and hax a taxi/cadge a lift from one of the sports-car boys.
Unless someone is driving through London :) (mug)
Help people?

Due the roundabout hax over the motorway and ensuing 2-3 hour queues, the sports car lads won't be going anywhere near warwick, best to get the train all the way through then give us a buzz from the station. It's like 2 mins from the venue.

Mmm the London to Stratty trains are ****e... 2hrs 20m+ journey and one every 2-4 hours on a friday eve/sunday :(
Best bet is to get a direct train (usually every 30 mins) to Leamington Spa (1hr 30m journey) and then 15-20 quid for a taxi or get someone to pick you up (20mins from strat).

Cheers for the intel, the leamington spa route looks like a winner.
Although I may try the one direct train depending on when I get out, otherwise there's a 2 hr trip that gets you to Stratford-upon-avon with a change at Banbury available.
I love travelling by train, it's like a mini-adventure.
I can probably give you a lift form the station and take you back to London if you want. Am travelling up to Stratford Fri afternoon.

Rah, everyone's so kind!
I'll probably end up getting the 2 hr train direct to stratford and then walk to the venue just for the sheer independence of it;)
Thanks for the offer of a lift back Tim, I may take you up on it. Will talk to you at the venue.

Yeah, Marylebone > Leamington > Stratford is probably your best bet. Trains every few minutes or so.
