Depends on your level. There seems to be a short space of time around level 8 or 9 where it's worth kicking around perez park for a bit, but generally missions are better because of the concentration of enemies and the bonus at the end.

Depends on your character really, my blaster for instance is fire/ice (so has good AOE attacks) and I leveled up from 7-9 in a few hours with another blaster (electric/devices) just hunting around the streets of Perez Park killing those huge groups of Hellions/skulls. We'd kill a 8+ group of white/yellow in under a minute with various AOE attacks.

Its fairly well accepted on the boards, and I agree with this from experience, that grouping and street hunting with a decent group is the fastest way to level up. It just about pips solo-hunting to the post.

The question is do you level up like a mad thing and miss out on the storyline content (missions from agents are only available within certain level ranges. get too big and your agent won't give you the missions) or do you want to sometimes take your time and follow the missions' structure.

As an example, missions give my char (level 23) approx 1/15th of a level each mission and take about an hour or so per mission.
Hunting with a big group on the streets of Independence Port gave me 2/3 of a level in about 3 hours.

I've been alternating between the two depending on mood :)

I seem to find roaming the streets or the hotzones (like boomtoom) in groups usually does me some good

i have chars at 15, 7, 7 and 5
(in actual order in my sig ;))

Also don't forget about people being able to sidekick you (need to have a 3 level difference) that way you can fight at their level and fight in the "fun" zones ;)

Once you hit lvl 21 head into Dark Astoria and live there til lvl 30 completely sacking off all missions.

Its groups of 12-14 lvl 21-29 mobs, very slow moving and low hit points. You can do a lvl in around 3-4 hours no problem.

At lvl 30 doing missions feels such an ass of a grind. 1 mission gives me around 1/6th of a bubble exp.
