What have sony ever done to you?

They gave us VHS, CD, Minidisc, DVD, (i also think they helped with MP3) and now Blue Ray and alot more!

Nothing much, just looking for someone to point the finger at.

Though on a more serious note it dissapoints me to see those like Sega and Atari walk into the shadows defeated. Lets be honest, the N64 was a superior machine and the Dreamcast at its time was an AMAZING machine though it never got the following it deserved.

Nintendo are struggling with the competition but regardless hold strong with their "quality not quantity" policy to their games and thats why I buy their products.

Sony PS1 had such a high amount of CRAP games it was like walking in a mine field when buying something you hadn't read several reviews on.

I do own an Xbox and they sadly are churning out some turd now too but all in all it is a far superior machine to the PS2.

I was under the impression Philips pioneered the CD back in 1985....

.. and the DVD was claimed to be from Hitachi, however this article (http://www.cdfreaks.com/news2.php?ID=8987) states that it was someone else, but either way it wasn't Sony.

Shut up Pe-on! and also i was Wrong about The VHS but they Helped With Super Vhs which has never really taken off.

And they do have a Healthy maket and If Nintendo didnt break up with sony over the Snes Cd then the Sony PS would have never come about! so Nintendo are partly to blame (im a Nintendo fan 2!) i dont Like PS2 but like the PSP and PS1

sony made the first portable music devices , they make superb speakers aswell - we own 4 250w sony speakers linked up with a peavy power amp :D bloody loud
