i spoke to the article writer (cant remember his name) in the PCZone IRC Chat and apparantly the version he played was running smooth as silk on a P3 1.5Ghz, 256mb RAM and a Radeon 9800 XT... which means unless Valve cheated the performance they're holding true on their 'this game only *really* pushes graphics cards... the rest of your pc wont need upgrading' claim...

Hmmm, I'd been wondering about upgrading for HL2 and Doom 3... guess it's just a case of saving for a Radeon x800 :D Those things are sweeet....

IF (big condition this one) it ever comes out, and IF (another big condition) it's any good. I would never buy it as it would mean I'd have to install steam.
