we're currently running DC on our (managed) ded. box. All was OK to begin with but for the past week we've been getting 10-15 seconds of server side lag once every 2 mins. This happens regardless of the number of players on at the time - even happens if just one player is on there. We know its server side coz it happens to all players at exactly the same time, and for exactly the same duration, all have diff. ISP's. Would be grateful if you could take a look at the problem and come up with a constructive solution.

(ask someone on IRC/stop running DC coz its laggy etc. isnt constructive, before anyone suggests it)

Hi,

From initial impressions, you seem to have the BF 1.6 'issue' of a lot of abandoned processes.

I've rebooted your box and restarted the servers; so if you could give it a try now and see how it goes.

If you still have problems and want to work through them a little quicker, then irc is a lot easier. :)

If you don't have an irc client running now, then you can just visit http://gaming.multiplay.co.uk and click 'Live Support'.

Same trouble here, new user to MPUK and not happy so far. Server lags exact same time for all on server. Please sort ASAP.:rolleyes:

Just tested on my own, all seems ok now. Will let you know when server is tested fully.
