i find if you have popcorn you must have a drink, otherwise u die of thirst before the middle of the film

Pop corn simply becomes tedious after a while.

I prefer the variety and unexpected oral experience that is PICK N MIX.

Those blue cables, the fizzy blue/pink bottles, the cola bottles, the fried eggs...it's a symphony of sensual excitement.

once i had the biggest drink of coke ive ever had in my life, it cost something stupid like a few quid, ive never drank so much fizzy stuff in my life. i could have exploded by the end of the film, you know what its like, you've normaly finished everything by the time the adverts are over.

Cringles?

No wait...

From a cinema workers perspective, none of the above :) If you buy any of this stuff at the cinema, they are normally marked up rediculously (27p to make a hotdog and cook it, £3.70 retail price).

If it's a cinema where the popcorn isn't popped on premises, (common) then it will have been in a store room for months with lots more popcorn, until someone takes it out and empties it into a heating hopper thingy where it is left till it runs out and is topped up (overnight quite often). Popcorn warmed up for two days in a lovely bacteria breeder, Mmmm, tasty.

Nachos are the most evil thing ever. I believe there are actually industrial solvents required for the removal of Nacho cheese from the floor. Pic and Mix is good, but you have the staff digging into it all day, and if kids leave the lids on the hoppers off, then it goes stale and hard (Ever try a stale yellow foam banana?).

The cinema I used to work at was right next door to a Pizza hut, so it wasn't uncommon for people to bring pizzas in.

If I have to go for anything, I have to stick with tradition and vote for SALTED POPCORN (There is no other kind).

Sweet pop corn, but usually I just buy my own body weight in Cadbury's Caramel from the garage next to the cinema. I have issues with the price of food in cinemas so pop corn is a bit of a treat.

My option isn't there.

Skittles. :)

As for pizza in the cinema, I usually go to the preview screenings that the cinema run to test the reels a couple of days before public release. There is an agreement between Pizza Hut and the cinema for Pizza Hut people to come along to these preview screenings. They usually bring about a dozen pizzas with them so everyone can have some pizza while they're watching the film. :D

You're all missing a trick here.....

You get a bag of chocolate M&Ms and a bag of salted Hula Hoops. Insert chocolate M&M into Hula Hoop hole and consume together for instant joyfulness.

Try it!
