I'm amazed at the snobbery involved with shops.
Its all the same stuff, it all comes from the same factories, yet people will go buy a tin of beans in Tesco rather than Kwiksave or Happy Shopper.
I'd go where the best price is. I don't care what the store is. If it was a filth hole, thats different, but most of them are part of huge chains and they are usually pretty good.

I prefer Sainsburys, for their selection of products and superior fruit & veg. But I like Tesco for being a 5 minute walk away and open 24 hours.

ASDA - its not as good as Tesco for fresh but its good value and the customer service is 2nd to none :)

ASDA are king of low prices, Tesco are best for convienience, Sainsbury are more expensive but better quality, Safeway do the best cheese-coverered rolls ever and Waitrose is just the place to go to piss money up the wall whilst buying extremely high quality food...

Iceland.
Where else will I retrieve my box of calorific broken biscuits from?
What about their massive range of frozen pizzas?
The BOGOF offers?
And not forgetting the almighty buy a turkey and get 4 other items free deals.

Unless you buy Asda, Tesco or Sainsburys own goods then your not beeing loyal.
As said a can of Heinz Baked Beans is the same regardless of which shop you go into

We shop at our local Asda store, but they dont offer much in the way of frozen ready meals, which me and my beau need because we're lazy mofo's and refuse to cook. We intend to visit Iceland, where we've been told have many good offers in frozen goodness. Apparently Morrisons is good for special offers too.
When i was 13, my parents hit financial crisis, and they shopped at Netto for a couple of months. Now to a 13 yr old girl, seeking coolness at school, and Netto being next to her school, i was mortified by them, and would sit outside the newsagents across the road incase anyone from school saw me there.
Its true about people having snobbery about supermarkets. Now that im in financial crisis, i couldnt give a **** where i shop as long as they sell 'Hovis Best of both'.

So are the own brands usually.
Its like OEM PC kit. You could find the exact same modem sitting in a Dell PC as in a Time PC, only with different names, and different drivers.
Same goes for a tin of beans. There's unknown companies churning out hundreds of tins of beans every minute, some get marked as Asda, some get marked as Tesco, some get marked as Safeway...
It makes bugger all difference.
