Just wanted to know what manager your using for the mpuk clan servers, and what admin controls can be farmed out to server admins ? ,i know you guys had problems with BF42 and BFSM,i hope that issue is fixed with BFV ?

It's currently just Clanforge, however this may change when BVSM is released. BFVCC (ick, puke) is Windows-only, so that's no good to us either.

If this BVSM doesnt work propely on linux i hope an alternative method of admin is going to be introduced for these clan servers, clanforge is handy right now but we cant give all the server admins access to clanforge as it simply has too much control over the servers.
Maybe you could modify clanforge so admins can log in but only have access to certain tabs on the live control ? this way the 'super admins' can farm out responsibility to other ppl safe in the knowledge that the modified clanforge access wont allow any admins other than themselves to change the main servers settings
I know you guys had trouble with the linux BFSM and we server renters suffered from that too by having to use inferior BFRM software,i hear that the BVSM is not working properly, alls i can say guys and i dont mean to sound harsh with this but DO NOT even think about fobbing us off with only the existing CL functions as our only way to admin our BFV servers, with a large clan of 40+ players how the hell are we sposed to cope with only 2 admins (superadmins with clanforge) running a popular public clan server ?
As the leading GSP in the UK its your responsibility to find ways around problems like the BFRM & BVSM on linux,PLEASE take a look at modifiying Clanforge so we can farm it out to other admins
/end rant

Clanforge v2 will feature different levels of privilages. Once again, I remind you that most GSPs just give you the server and let you get on with it. You can still give people the rcon pass and they can use that. I can HIGHLY recommend =XDC=Col. Mugworth's RSM utility to be found here: http://www.planetbattlefield.com/bfgp/rsm/
Also a program called Shorty is very useful for in game adminning. Find it here: http://www.wennerberg.nu/shorty/index.htm

yes shorty is a superb program for ingame admining. just spend 5 mins or so setting up binds and away you go. if you want to i can give you my basic set of bindings in a file, just edit them to your needs. contact me on irc etc. may save you 2 mins

For all BF1942 and Vietnam servers run by MPUK, the Remote Admin port is your game port + 99, and the query port is +100. So to answer Zenduce's question, the remote admin port is 27199 and the query is 27200
