Playstaion 2, LAN/online/clan

If any of you have a PS2 and Socom II you will know it now has the ability to LAN. This makes it an intresting option to include it in UK LAN events. A new breed of gamer can now be born from the world of PS2.

Alien Gamer hope to be able to arrange an event for the PS2 soon, and hope a relationship with Multiplay can make this happen. Introducing the PS2 and SOCOM II to LAN events would open the doors for a new type of PRO gamer, and alien gamer would like to be up there with the best of them.

LAN on PS2 ...an interesting thought .....
Yous do realise that Games on consoles would have progressed faster, had more support, and had a larger level of divercity IF Playstations wern't made 'backwards compatible', dont you ??

Think about it . .. If PSX2 Hadnt been allowed to play PSX1 games, the market it was sold in would have been a NEW market, with NEW games, NEW tech, NEW ideas ...
As it happened, most of the first PSX2 Games (and a lot since), would have played on a psx1, if psx1 had a dvd player instead of a cd-rom .... the developers HELD these games back, waiting for the PSX2 release, then threw the games into the market as PSX2 games, not PSX1 games. .. . nice ploy !! ... almost as good as those console sales figures....lol. ..

From what ive heard people saying, the PSX2 online experience is total ASS, too ... which dont help :D ....

Stick to the Xbox, mate .... it tends to work :D .....
