Everyone I spoke to at the end of the event seems to agree that it was an enjoyable event. I was personally very pleased to see so many new faces not that I was getting bored of seeing the likes of Mic and Deadhead :P

There where a few small issues regarding the Cs servers however we are positive these will be fixed when steam official supports LAN play :)

As with all past events there were a number of people who signed up and didn't show even though they replied to the confirmation emails.

Also we had one or two small hiccups with the Linux Boxes at the beginning of the event but nothing that our resident guru Pert couldn't fix.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Pert for all the hard work he put into the event and also for his extremely leet and fast cable making skills.


Congratulations to team Rapped By who won the last ever Q3 5 v 5 CTF tourney to be held at an Uprising event. Congratulations also go out to MagnuM All* who battled their way through to become the CS Champs – hope you will show at the next event to defend the title. ;)

Thanks to everyone who showed and helped make it another memorable event.
