premiere pro problem

ok now this is really ****ing pissing me off now

when i export a video it'll get to a certain frame and just sit there doing **** all yet the E.T.C. timer will still tick down to 00:00:00 and then do sweet **** all

i thought it was cause i was rendering it to a hdd with little space left but since rendering it to a dif hdd its still doing it

and being its taking 40 odd mins to do its really getting on my ****ing tits!

any one got any ideas?

its possibly due to not laying down a continuos timecode on your tape, so its getting as far as it can in one stint, and then bombing cos the timer resets.

Best Idea, rip the whole tape in normal capture mode, then chop it up in premier.

i think ive said it wrong

basically its a 10 min vid of various clips put together
when i try to export it it just sits on a particular frame and does nothing

i assume it plays fine on the preview?

yup playes fine when previewed in premiere

check that theres nothing daft like "render work bar only" checked in the options


a long shot but its worth checking

ahh yeah, I see, elbonio is prolly right for export.

export it as a wmv or other format to see what happens


after that check all your clip avi's individually (in the same folder as the premiere file)


report back.
