thought i mightaswell post this since I put so much effort into making it and almost as much effort finding a WMV setting that didnt look like poo but was small enough to download.

This video was made as a demo to demonstrate some of the new stuff we'd done. This includes Apocalypse dishwashing and suburban mop jousting.

I know a lot of you have seen it but for those who havent...

It's actually one long video but i cut it down into 4 parts for the web.

My server doesnt stream too well so right click and "save target as"!

Downhill Vacuuming (http://www.urbanhousework.com/videos/downhillvacuuming.wmv) 4.9MB

Apocalypse Dishwashing (http://www.urbanhousework.com/videos/dishwashing.wmv) 2.1MB

Suburban Mop Jousting (http://www.urbanhousework.com/videos/mopjousting.wmv) 1.3MB

Extreme Ironing (http://www.urbanhousework.com/videos/extremeironing.wmv) (with some downhill vacuuming mixed in for good measure) 6.7MB

I used two DV cameras to get the shots and used Premier to edit them together. We did have a third mini-camera that we attached to the vacuum so we could have "hoover-cam" but alas this perished and went blind.

Any thoughts/comments would be appreciated as we're going to be making another one soon so i need your input.

so you think DivX is the way forward?

Im looking for comments on the technical side of things: do you think the shots are the right angles? Does it look professional? Is there anything you would do differently?

It looks just right, its got the jackass style of filming, and just owns! Like having the camera on the public for reactions, its just right!
