But disapointed with the single player game. I played it on step down from the hardest setting and was disapointed to have the game completed in approx 5 hours play not really a challenge but still a good game suppose.

Everyone seems to say it was very short, but I really liked it.
I didn't notice that it was short as such, and I play more single player games atm than I do multiplay online.
Try it on hardest though, no health packs eeek! :)

i'll admit it was good, but I really HATED the British campaign... Pegasus Bridge was a needless saturation of fire and many frustrating deaths at the hands of AI that spawned behind me...

And the Battleship level was full of MOH's spawning and AI that can see thro walls...

aye its a good game still and I like the tanks they actually made you feel like you was in a tank compared to MOHAA ad BF1942 where your tank would get stuck on the smallet rock or blade of grass.

Your having it when i see you andrew for flaming pegasus bridge!!

Tis the best 2 levels in the game for me!! Read the book, watch the Longest Day :P Tis pretty much an exact copy of the location....

The music in the last few minutes defending it - well, im gonna just play that constantly in lectures to you :P

nah, I just liked the levels where something original happened... like pretty much the entire American and Russian campaigns...
the British ones just played out way to much like MoH where your character did EVERYTHING... I already own that game, dont want to play it again (infact, I hate it so much after CoD I never want to grace my computer with it again)

I just want to steg it along the German countryside with Panzer tanks chasing me in a clapped out French car... Not have to deal with respawning tanks and AI troops...

not wanting to pay homage to a bunch of 180 lads who done 1 of the most daring things in our history?

After reading the book, the level is just amazing to play.....

Sorry - u go out and buy the most generic games possible - NOLFE for example!

Go pre-order more games :P Or go spend 5 quid on Pegasus Bridge by Stephen ambrose, and spend a few nights reading it instead of playing...

Then u'll see the respect I have for the story...

Here here taffeh. The book illustrates just what a feat these guys managed.

It's also quite interesting how two guys who had tried to kill each other became good friends after the war :)
