Axis:
The round got off to rocky and somewhat slow start with HEAD-d^_^b hitting the smallest of bumps on take off and losing the entire hill force. Thanks to NJ’s Quick expacking of the DOWN tank and a quick bomb on there jeep, the hill was quickly retaken, then instantly lost again as DOWN reinforcements rained from the heavens, most bouncing on the blood stained soils of the kharkov hills but the hardened survivors causing massive problems to the MPUK hill force. Meanwhile Freelancer and Alex having a very private Skag party at the axis back flag quickly making light work of any gate crashers. With the hill changing hands faster than, well something very fast. The round ended with DOWN managing to hold on for 24 tickets after putting a good fight.
Allies:
After a messy win as axis MPUK where keen to show there true colors. Again NJ lead by slowing there attacking tanks leaving an easy hill cap. DOWN, down but not out kept the flags grey and the pressure on quick HALO’s on the hill and sneaky infantry came close to retaking control of the flag. But thanks to the team work of the hill team baroni, Weps and jerky with close support from TheGuyver and his tank. MPUK managed to hold on, a quick steal of their forward tank left them wide open, with all three flags under MPUK control. Jerky, with his katusha zeroed in on the heads of incoming infantry. DOWN were still pushing forward and getting the odd sneaky infantry to slow the bleed but MPUK hung on for a 162 shutout.
Summary:
With MPUK expecting the easy win, the first round came as a bit of a shock with DOWN attacking and defending hard. But a quick motivational beating from NJ soon got us back in to the swing of things. With strong anti air and top notch pilots DOWN are an up and coming UK team to watch out for.
Medals:
MPUK Uniform for Baroni in mermory of his first game for MPUK
Positive Mental Attitude tablets for Thory to help reduce his pre match negativity.
Sportsmanship shaped cyanide for IMCRAP for taking one for the teams reputation and giving them back their tank.
gg wp thx all.

nice report, and thanks for the kind comments, we've come a long way since our pasting at i16 on berlin when we first entered teh scene as a nooby BF clan. Hopefully one day we'll get there.
Expecting a heavy defeat we were just as surprised as you guys were when we held you to a close game on teh first match, but seeing NJ's commanding temperament first hand at i16 we knew you'd bounce back to give a major hammering on the 2nd half. Nonetheless we actually enjoyed the match thoroughly, so thanks again for the match and report. :yellow:
Hope to see you guys at another i series event this summer.

Indeed, it was a fun game. It's also always nice to be complimented on the reports, thx.
Next i-series is in March - the big 4-dayer. It should be brilliant, with any luck we'll see you there!

I didnt play, but there was a real buzz after the game as everyone felt they had given MPUK a shock first round, and it seems we managed to :D, which is what we set out to do, and to avoid a complete mullering like last time. we weren't expecting to win, more to give you lads a couple of bruises you wouldnt forget for the next time we clash ;)
Theres a lot of chatter about going to one of the i-series events in the summer, looking like i21, but without a doubt we will see you at one soon ;)
