MPUKBF1942 clan break

As you all may or may not be aware, MPUK bf1942 clan has played its last clan game untill the new year.

when we return we will be holding the final trials for the newbies, and making our selection based upon them.

we will also be launching the long planned MPUK BF league.

and am sure we will continue our winning ways when we get back into games.

It has been a great year playing for MPUK, and im sure our 2nd christmas will bring us all we need to go into 2004 with all guns blazing.

Thanks JeRkY, couldn't have said it better myself.

We're had a great year and played some great games. At the end of the year we hold a few records that ppl may not be aware of. Not only are we the top UK clan in CB but we've also played the most CB games and have the best CB reputation (judged by competing clans).

We have (by far) the most battle reports of any clan and we are one of the few remaining clans that have been around since the demo.

We've had no internal struggles and get along as a team better than any other clan I know of.

We're the team of teams with good players that know how to enjoy the game.

It's nice being recognised by the squad as a leader and it's a joy to lead a team like this. I couldn't do it without all of your dedication, friendliness and of course love of beer. Many thanks to everyone in the squad for helping make it all happen.

The final year tally of games sees myself as the leader with 95 recorded games followed swiftly by Squire with 79 and JeRkY with 70. (record is here - http://bf1942.atdot.at/games.html)

In closing...

Next year we're going to get back up to our old internal reputation of having tactics and squad lists up and viewable on the morning of match start. To do this ppl really need to pull their finger out and sign up on the forums. We've never needed a complex signup system because the forums have worked so well for us. Sadly this system is starting to let us down with ppl not bothering to sign up anymore. Please please be aware that it is crucial for my stress levels for you to sign up well before the game start. The forum link (http://forums.multiplay.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=96) is easy to add to your favourites and it's not so hard to check for new games each day and sign up if you can play. It really is important, so please help me to run the clan by signing up.

Aside from that I want to thank you all again for a successful year and wish you all a very merry Christmas and happy new year.

Wit, you're just sore cause you missed the rl MPUK game where we booted relaxed booty.
