I am, for want of a better phrase, burned out and want to step back a bit and enjoy the gaming that brought me to this point in the first place. [Elrond] and I are being promoted to the COG (Crusty Old General) Brigade, where we will continue to offer sage advice and kibbitz. [Elrond] will of course continue to run the radio station and help to moderate the forums, and I am going to concentrate almost exclusively on developing new services for your gaming pleasure
When we took on the [OwP] it had around 125 listed members, no website, and no real cohesion. Well, two years later and with the efforts of all of you and many many more, we have over 7000 listed members and we have brought the organisation to a certain level of prominence. We have had some growing pains and the organisational reputation has suffered somewhat as a result, but that's all part of the process. I can not thank you all enough for the work you have done on the organisation's behalf.
[o]CencusTaker is now my Benevolent Dictator in Training, and will be taking over the day to day operations pretty much immediately. I would hope that you will make his beginnings in the role as pain free as possible, and that you provide him the kind of support you have provided us in the past.
It is sad to see both of these two bowing out, they have over time become friends as well as great leaders for the organisation but do not worry they will still be active behind the scenes, probably kicking my arse when neccessary. I have to say it is a rather daunting task ahead of me, and I hope to make OwP the best it can be.
