Axis:
A spectaularly poor change of strat by Nj before the match meant that we were pretty much completely overrun. There's a reason we have revised strat and it so we can use it and do well with it. The bugz defense was very very good and we couldn't do anything to stop our bleed. We would have lost the round because but the chosen strat meant we were bled to death on the attacking side. Very poor performace but all down to the strat, not to the players. All in all we actually played quite well but the strat was never a winner. When it came ot the crunch, Bugz played better.

Allies:
A much better round this time but again to no avail. This was definitly going to be the harder of the 2 rounds - having to defend against an attacking side's home map. We held the line well for a while but we couldn't keep up the defense with the constant stream of bugz tanks. Eventually we were pushed back to base with a nice double cap by bugz and only managed to hold out 5 of the remaining 10 minutes of the round.

Midway:
Allies:
Often we play well on the allied side on midway but this round we made a cuple of errors which lost us a good ammount of tickets. We had a weak island attack from the start and started bleeding unnecessarily. The ship force played a good round and managed to get us back into the game. WIth their support the island was recapped and we started the bleed on bugz. Too late to score well sadly - could have gone better but a strong comeback proved that we can play this map.

Axis:
Best round of the game for MPUK here with great island defense work. Bugz were repelled utterly and couldn't get a decent hold. Mistakingly we ignored the battleship that made its way to our fleet spawn and caused great trouble there but we used the ships and planes we had to the best of our ability and managed to keep a permanent bleed on. Bugz kept fighting to control their bleed but it was to no avail. In the last few minutes they managed to halo bunker roof at south island which would have been dealt with swiftly but as the MPUK killer came into range the SBD swooped in and took 2 kills. A second attacker bailed and killed the 3rd man and the island was lost and the bleed halted. It was too late to pull this one back for bugz but sadly after the 1st map it was always going to be nigh on impossible to pull back.

Summary:
A fun game, very calm and collected on comms but a shame to have lost.

Medals:
Navy Cross for bvark for his commanding in the seas. He put the ships under his command to good use saving a perilous round then commanding a strong win.
Iron Cross for AcidUK for solid performance in a multitude of vehicles over 4 rounds. Truly a soldier we can rely on.
Reprimand of the order Goat for Njoroge for commanding his armies in the way of certain doom.
